GCMS/LCMS screening for contamination

Standalone GCMS or LCMS screening for contamination of the sample.

The type of analysis depends o the type of sample. Our lab team will determine which method is best for your sample. In case you have any questions, please write us.

GCMS testing uses NIST 2014 library to detect tens of thousands of possibly harmful substances in the product. Detection is limited to volatile and semi-volatile compounds and the test cannot be used on peptide samples.

LCMS testing can detect contamination of peptide products with other peptides and degraded peptide. Detection is limited to peptides on our price list (you can ask our customer support for the full list).

Both tests give only identification of contaminants. Measurement of concentration can be offered for additional price once such substance is detected.

CHNS mass report (Standalone test)

CHNS elementary analysis is a gold standard in measuring the net peptide content. Instead of dissolution of the sample, it uses combustion. After the sample is burned down to basic elements, their amount is measured, which results in accurate net peptide content value. At the same time, the solubility issues which may happen with HPLC measurement of amount are solved for good with this method.

Endotoxin analysis

Analysis of endotoxin presence and amount in the sample with LAL assay.

Please note our standard endotoxin test is accurate for values up to 10 EU/vial. Values above 10 EU/vial are estimated. For a perfectly accurate result a new test, for a discounted price of 90 USD, with a different vial and dilution is necessary. Therefore, we also recommend sending two vials for the testing.

Alternatively, if you already expect the values to be above 10EU/vial, let us know. We will run only one test calibrated for such values straight away.

We do not offer endotoxin analysis on oils, raw API powders, tablets and capsules.

Sterility testing (TAMC+TYMC)

Total Aerobic Microbial Count (TAMC) and Total Yeast and Mold Count (TYMC) are cultivation tests for microbial presence in the sample. In case the test fails, sample is not sterile.

Test requires unopened vials or ampoules, in order to prevent contamination of the sample during shipping and handling.

Sending less than recommended amount is possible, however, it may impact the results.

We do not recommend this test for oral samples, are orals do not need to be sterile for the safe use.
